Caerphilly Campaign launches with Virtual Rally

Last Friday,  over forty people attended the virtual launch of the Caerphilly Campaign last week, marking a major step on the road to May's Senedd Elections.

With special guest speakers Dafydd Wigley, the honorary President of Plaid Cymru,  and Sion Jobbins, Chairman of YesCymru,  the launch served as an enjoyable break amidst Coronavirus restrictions.

Speaking at the launch, Dafydd Wigley stated:

"Wales needs Delyth’s skills in our national Senedd if we are to build a Wales for the future, an independent Wales that depends on the abilities of its young people".

The launch also consisted of an auction, in which members bided on a selection of items kindly donated to us - including gorgeous hand-painted landscapes of Caerphilly, and historical Plaid Memorabillia.

In total,  the Launch raised well over £1000 for the Election, and served as an exciting start to the Campaign.
