Plaid Cymru Caerphilly Together, We Can Build a Brighter Future

A celebration in Caerphilly to mark International Women's Day was declared a success.

Plaid Cymru councillors Teresa Parry, left, (Hengoed) and Charlotte Bishop (Aber Valley) were among those attending the event.

Charlotte said: "For me, the highlight was finding out the myriad of courses the charity Threshold DAS  offer and fund. They’re truly making a difference in the county. 

“The Threshold staff also gave away cakes, purple ribbons, and flowers to the women and there was an amazing singer. It was an excellent celebration of women and their strength," she added.
